“The Book of Revelation: The Seventh Seal – The Seven Trumpets ~ Part-1” ~ Length: 36:21

Revelation 8 is solely devoted to the opening of the seventh seal! No other seal, of the seven, was given so much attention to detail. The reason?… It unleashes the 7 Trumpets Judgments! Yes!… Seven more judgments after all we just examined regarding The Four Horsemen! It would seem there is a break in the action. Revelation 7 is when the 144,000 are sealed. They were sealed with, “the seal of the living God”. Those who were sealed are “from all the tribes of the people of Israel…”. That is all who were sealed with the seal of the living God. No one else. With all that has happened, the seventh seal starts with fire in the mere preparation for the blowing of the seven trumpets! Of which!, the first four trumpets bring more fire! We see the same pattern with the seven trumpets as with the seven seals. The first six are implemented, seemingly, one right after another and then the last one seems to take a short period of time before it is executed. The seventh seal on the seven sealed scroll is opened and there is silence in heaven for half an hour, or there about. We need to specifically note, that this silence is ceremoniously executed at this point in time. It would seem to deepen into a state of awe quickly thereafter. As bad as it has been to this point, it goes from bad to worse. From worse to horrific! The silence is more of ceremony in its use but, is greatly coupled with awe of the administration of judgments in direct “…recognition of God’s holiness and righteous judgment.”. If you read Revelation as literal language only, you will never understand this book. For reading it literally and trying to reason what you are reading will obliterate any comprehension of the miraculous and supernatural. We, like John, will struggle to explain and therefore use more of a descriptive language often using the phrase, “It is like”. We must not let our lack of understanding preclude and eclipse our faith. We hope you find this study most instructive. Get your sharp pencil, paper and Bible out! Then click Play!
